Partly fueled by the popularity of Adidas ambassadors Colin Morikawa and Xander Schauffele, and also due to the stylish looks and design of their range of clothes and golf footwear. Fashion-conscious golfers will know that Adidas is currently a very popular brand to be seen wearing on the course.

The stylish Adidas Tech Response golf shoes are lightweight, and sporty-looking golf shoes. These are targeted at the golfer looking to have a golf shoe that can be worn all year round, but which doesn’t compromise on performance or styling.
The Tech Response golf shoe has a mesh textile and synthetic leather upper material on the outer sole. They come in a variety of color options, either black, white, or grey, all showing off the distinguishable Adidas three-stripe logo on the side of the shoe.
These are perfect for the golfer who just wants one pair of golf shoes able to be worn all year round. However, due to the material of the outer shoe, it is not designed to be a waterproof golf shoe, although it is water-resistant, and performs well in early morning dew, or light rain showers. If your game allows, it is best to avoid the water with your shots when playing!
The inner liner of the golf shoe is made from cloud foam, which provides added comfort for your feet, and easily supports walking 18-holes.
The sole of the golf shoe features a sturdy mix of soft spike grips and six soft plastic spike cleats. This is a good combination and provides excellent grip when playing in all conditions. When playing in these we found these very stable underfoot throughout the golf swing, even on wet ground.
The soft spikes are designed to be low-profile, so whereas they provide excellent grip in wet weather, they are also not too prominent or uncomfortable when playing on dry ground, or harder grass.

FootJoy 2022 Fuel Golf Shoes – Are They Any Good?
The FootJoy Men’s golf shoes are the latest design to be released, they have an athletic style with features that aims to improve on-course performance.
In terms of the look of these golf shoes, we liked the design, the athletic, sporty style fits well with the modern golfer looking for a shoe that looks more like a sneaker. The Fuel golf shoe has a minimalistic design, with only a small amount of color, although the base of the golf shoe has bright orange and blue colors which stand out. They also come in other color options, such as black, white, and navy.
The upper of the golf shoe is synthetic, not the usual FootJoy leather. This is fine though, and fits with the athletic design. Although it is not leather it still has the full FootJoy waterproof warranty, and when we tested it in the wet it performed really well with no leaks.
The midsole of the shoe is made from Stratolite foam, this is a softer, springier foam. Not only does this make the Fuel golf shoe incredibly light, but it also means that if you plan to walk 18-holes in these shoes you will be able to do this very easily in these shoes as they are extremely comfortable.
The FootJoy Fuel golf shoe is spikeless and offers a very good grip when playing golf. The soft spikes performed extremely well in our testing but if you are playing in very wet conditions they might not be as good as traditionally spiked golf shoes.
The base of the golf shoe also boasts an orange section which is called the ‘stability bridge’, this offers the golfer good structure and stability in the golf swing. As mentioned in the introduction, this is ideal if you’re looking to have a solid base from which to hit long drives.
